The Legendary BoontFling started as a venture between the Delta Windjammers Disc Golf Club (Stockton) and the Anderson Valley Brewing Company (host).  The event continues to grow each year and is an instant favorite to those that attend.

Your Organizers: Tournament Director:  Craig ‘Krash’ Gustafson.  Krash is known as the creator of the BoontFling, but also has TD’d countless other tournaments including PDGA national events.

Host Club:  Delta Windjammers Disc Golf Club – along with support of the local club.

Event Management:  In 2021, Prplei joined the BoontFling team to help coordinate the event’s food & beverage services, guest services, and to enhance the event’s music side to add a series of public ticketed concerts.

Prplei is an event management company based in Stockton, California and can be found at Prplei.com

BoontFling DO’S & DO NOT'S

We are committed to fostering a relaxed atmosphere, but there are certain guidelines we must abide by to ensure a safe and fun event for everyone.  Help us help you by keeping fire lanes clear, notifying staff of any hazards, and communicating in times of distress – we’re on the same team! Look out for one another, stay hydrated, take breaks, wear sunscreen, and most of all, have fun!

For ALL to have FUN

Event attendees must abide by all local, state, and federal laws. We are at the brewery as guests of the brewery, reward them by purchasing all your alcohol from the tasting room. Absolutely NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL allowed on event grounds. Anyone caught selling or distributing illicit substances will immediately have their wristband cut and be ejected from the events. Further legal repercussions are likely. Keep in mind that drug use on event grounds is in violation of state ABC regulations and therefore blatant use of it is not permissible. Please be aware of this and use common sense. If it’s illegal outside the event, it’s illegal inside, too.

NO

  • No outside alcoholic beverages.
  • No illegal or illicit drugs
  • No fireworks or sky lanterns.
  • No amplified music or drum circles from 11pm to 11am.
  • No campfires or charcoal grills (cook stoves OK).
  • No video recording of any performances.
  • No unauthorized vending – if you’re not a registered vendor you may not sell or distribute anything on the brewery grounds. Violators are subject to confiscation and/or ejection.
  • No laser pens or similar focused-light devices.
  • No confetti, please (every piece needs to get picked up!).
  • Prohibited items may be added to this list at any time if necessary.

YES

  • Support our hosts – the tasting room is open from Noon to 7pm (normal hours) but they generously stay open later during the BoontFling for us – show your appreciation!
  • Enjoy your dogs on property, with them controlled on a leash.
  • Bring warm clothes (nights can be cool)
  • Festive clothing and fun costume wear strongly encouraged.

SECURE YOUR STUFF

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere but be proactive about the security of your belongings. While only event competitors and select guests may camp on grounds, it is still wise to secure your belongings when not immediately in your campground. If you’re concerned about valuables in your tent, you might consider using a small padlock.

LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT

We are here at the invitation of the ownership and staff of the brewery. Take every step possible to ensure that we leave the grounds in better condition than how we found it so that we can be invited back next year. It is on everyone to police your garbage and your campground area. There are plenty of garbage receptacles on property. If you have any questions, ask an Event Staff member.

The tournament has secured a 20-yard dumpster. During check-in, the location of this dumpster will be pointed out to you, and everyone should bring their garbage to the dumpster prior to departure.

If you have any questions just ask – tournament staff will be on site and available at all times.
